What you need to know
Kape Roofing is here to help with your roofing insurance claims needs! Please review our detailed 5 step process below, and reach out if you have any questions or you’re ready to get started.
Before calling in a claim with your insurance company, you will want to have an inspection done by Kape to see If you even have damage. Calling in a claim when there is no damage could cause your rates to increase.
Contact Insurance Company
Your Kape Roofing representative can help you file a claim with your insurance company or you can do it yourself with our damage inspection report. This usually takes about 10-15 minutes on the phone.
Once a claim is filed an adjuster will call you to schedule an appointment. The adjuster will come out and look at your property. It is important to have Kape Roofing at the adjuster appointment so everyone is on the same page about what will be covered by the insurance company. Your adjuster will write a detailed estimate line by line that Kape Roofing will work off of.
Color Selections & Scheduling
Your project manager will come out and bring samples of your roofing material of choice (shingles, metal, tile, etc.) Your project manager will also review the insurance paperwork with you and answer any questions you might have.
Kape Roofing & Exteriors will invoice your insurance company to release the second Replacement Cost Value (RCV) check. The only out of pocket expense for a homeowner is their deductible, any non-recoverable depreciation, and any extra upgrades.
